Changing the AA flight from JFK to PHL is a big help to me. I can travel out of DC or PHL but prefer PHL. Primary international destination is BKK. I have tried to make the JFK-DOH route work for us because of a relatively easy upgrade but the timings often created a pretty long trip. Right now, on my dates, AA is only showing full Y class available but hopefully that will shake out and can use SWU on this route. As other have mentioned, the lounge situation in PHL is horrible for it to have so many international routes.
If they're bothering to move this route to PHL instead of just canceling it altogether, hopefully they're going to just finish the FL already. Chase is also opening a Sapphire Lounge at some point in the next few months FWIW (though I think it's going to be over in terminal D?).
