Following that I would take United, American or JetBlue points.

Does selecting one of these airlines points programs for my Qatar Airways flight reduce my point earning potential or is it 1:1?

If it was reduced, I suppose I could transfer to other avios (like BA) but my preference would be to earn with a NA based carrier.

Thanks for your help!
Just fill out the details of your flight in the below calculator and you'll see how many miles/points you'll earn with different programs. From what I can see, American would be a close second to QR.
