Unfortunately, short haul flights at T5B/C has become a not infrequent reality. It is very frustrating when you are delayed and either have a connection or indeed an arrival at a time when you're eager to be home.

Ultimately, T5A hasn't enough capacity for all short haul flights and T5B/C have too much capacity for the long haul at certain hours and particularly overnight. I suspect that priority is to park shorthaul planes there that will then leave early enough to vacate the space in the early morning which by contrast is a peak time for long haul rotations, but either way, however frustrating, it is a bit of a lottery
