Just flew HV, no weighing of my bags. I had paid for guaranteed hand luggage in the cabin but was a bit worried about the bags being overweight, but there was no enforcement. They stuck some of those stickers onto wheelie bags, my two backpacks didn't receive them (but were still allowed onboard).

By the way, if you have an HV booking ref, you can pay for guaranteed hand luggage online.
