I get it from their incredibly narrow perspective of having the planes departing in 7 hours time on the A gates already, but it deprives the passengers of any hope of making the last train / tube to London (23.31) or the last direct coach for 2 hours (23.45)

I’m now sitting in an Uber that will put me back £90 and resolving that after renewing GGL this year I’m putting a big handicap on BA for future travels. Maybe I should have done it before but the occasional excellent experiences made me hang around despite the pretty rubbish experience around IRROPs (apart from being towards the front of the queue for rebooking)

I know FT is more an example of anecdata and we’re all susceptible to confirmation bias, but really feels they’re at the Ratner stage with their actions now

As far as I can see on Realtimetrains, there were later trains to Paddington at 2342, 2357 and 0007 last night. Might one of those not worked for you?
