Reading the Reddit posts by this source, it seems to me to either be true or a troll. Certain comments such as having insights into the feeling of "the [Delta] board" as a call center employee strain credulity, as well as a change to a lounge access policy requiring board approval. If it is true, it also still seems that DL is still finalizing the exact details.

With the new JFK Sky Club open to alleviate the station with the worst crowding... why would Delta turn down money from Amex? I have heard some DL execs dislike the damage to their "image" of having crowded Sky Clubs in the press, but that can't be the only reason.
