For me, my mind goes to:

- No longer being able to use a single Diamond choice benefit to get a personal membership
- Not having unlimited access via the non-Delta American Express Platinum card that recently went up to $695 per year(!)
- The potential of not having any credit card that confers unlimited SC access
That may have been how DL tried to market it, but clearly that was really just a money grab. DMs have always had club access, and the clubs weren't this crowded in 2019 (or any year I remember since DM started). Delta is a smaller airline now, and many business travelers aren't flying as much. I suspect the overall amount of DM travel (i.e. number of DMs flying at any given time) has actually decreased since covid, but yet the club over-crowding is getting worse and worse...

They need to do something, but like others have opined: It's highly unlikely they'd take this away from the reserve card...otherwise many (most?) reserve card holders would dump that card (myself included).
