I am flying Qatar on a paid Fare (I Class) however I do not foresee flying Qatar again in the next few years, so I'd rather earn points with another airline partner instead. Depending on which airline I choose to earn Points from will my total points earned differ? I would like to hold/advance status with Delta or Air Canada. Following that I would take United, American or JetBlue points.

Does selecting one of these airlines points programs for my Qatar Airways flight reduce my point earning potential or is it 1:1?

If it was reduced, I suppose I could transfer to other avios (like BA) but my preference would be to earn with a NA based carrier.
