I have a feeling that something like this is going to be real, the SC crowding and DL's attempt at fixing it has resulted in a lot of changes already.

For me, my mind goes to:

- No longer being able to use a single Diamond choice benefit to get a personal membership
- Not having unlimited access via the non-Delta American Express Platinum card that recently went up to $695 per year(!)
- The potential of not having any credit card that confers unlimited SC access

At this point, if I have my math right, the only two ways to get bottomless SC access when flying domestically (minus domestic D1 routes) would be to either buy a personal membership, or use all three choice Diamond benefits for an executive membership. Am I missing something?

I wouldn't be surprised if Delta went to making only the Reserve get you into the lounge, but that doesn't seem to be what the rumor is saying.

Either way, the only reason I really hold on to my non-cobranded Platinum card is for the SkyClub. The day that no longer gets me into a club it's getting cancelled. Most of my spend goes onto a CSR anyway. Might as well just buy a membership directly from Delta for the same cost as the Plat AF.
