I frequently like to grab a quick take away coffee from the domestic lounges, but never anything else. I have noticed though that if I am seated in 1A/B/C on the A320, the cabin crew are quite keen for me to get the coffee finished prior to take off. Understandable as during this time there is nowhere to securely put it apart holding in your hand and they probably don't want it splashed on them should things get a bit rough!
