Is that no longer the case for AA flights? Does a round-trip award on AA still specify a mileage price for each direction? Is this amount now less than each one-way would cost by itself?
Has anyone confirmed an answer here? It is clearly now the case that a round-trip award on AA metal prices out at less miles than the same flights booked as two one-way awards. What happens if a passenger needs to cancel or make changes to the return portion of a round-trip award after the passenger has flown the outbound portion of the award? I've read conflicting reports online.
