How much to value LPs is a pretty individual thing. It depends on how many you otherwise will get, how you use status, and what other ways you have to get them. For someone that will finish the year around 135,000 LPs, an extra 20,000 isn’t that important. For someone that finishes exactly at 105,000 and has no other great LP earning options, 20,000 LPs are valuable.
For someone that can use the card for estimated tax payments easily to earn 20,000 LPs, the value depends on the fee to pay taxes and the person’s valuation of redeemable miles, etc.
I don’t think it’s really possible to have an objective value for LPs without knowing much more.
