I normally fly QR to Asia as it helps retain my OWE status. However, QR fares have gone through the roof, so I might not bother trying to renew my status. Currently EY from LHR is cheaper than QR Ex EU, and that's before you factor in position flights, accommodation and general messing about with Ex EU.
