I found earlier (mentioned in a previous post) that Chrome was blocking a request based on invalid CORS headers. This is a security thing. The LifeMiles server is returning invalid headers so Chrome blocks the request. But, based on the CORS clue I did some Googling and discovered some command line options to disable CORS checking on Chrome which allows LifeMiles to work on Chrome, at least for searching. I did not try to book.

WARNING: This disables some security features. It would be unsafe to use this on other websites. Only ever use this to access LifeMiles on Chrome if it does not work for you normally. After completing your session on LifeMiles close that browser window and do not use it to access other websites.

Windows command line to start Chrome without CORS checking (gives an error message on startup about unsupported command line option - ignore it):

This starts Chrome in a separate sandbox so you do not have access to your cookies from your main Chrome browser (may have to re-enter some stuff). It looks like it also creates a new directory on your computer for the new sandbox (user-data-dir specified in the command line).

I found when using this, even when I selected my country at login it got changed after login and I had to reset my country again before searching to get the taxes shown in USD.

This workaround is a hack that bypasses some security checking and should only be used for the LifeMiles website until LifeMiles fixes their server side code. Probably Firefox is a better option for now but for those who cannot use Firefox for some reason this might get you going.
I love it. So hideously complex, just like all of Lifemiles. I have so much “fun” with this program.
