My flight was cancelled about 5 hours prior to departure. The reason given by AC was "unforseen aircraft maintenance".

I was automatically rebooked onto a new flight departing 2 days later, but I was able to call in and get rebooked onto a connecting flight that arrived about 3.5h after my original flight was supposed to arrive.
