Back to the topic of seat selection, does anyone know if there are Star Alliance member websites that can assign seats across the alliance? For example in OneWorld, I sometimes can't get seat assigned on the operating airline, but I can on AY.com, MH.com or RJ.com. Doesn't always work, but sometimes. Just wondering if something like this exists on Star Alliance and whether that might help.
