Mrs ConstellationClass, an American Airlines “Executive Platinum” flyer (means the AA flight attendants only spit once at her on boarding rather than standard twice) was granted silver status on Delta Air Lines for the rest of this calendar year of our lord 2023. No dice for an upgrade on our outbound DCA-MSP leg on a good sturdy old NWA A320 a few days ago (I came along on a companion pass through her Amex card) but tonight we will be in first on the 8pm Embraer 175 service MSP-IAD. Looks like quite an open flight with 4 F seats still available and more than a dozen open steerage class berths.

Anyone know if a departure that late will have a sadbox?
