It's been more than two months already and I'm yet to receive my refund not to mention any compensation. I reached out to BA on Twitter earlier this week and they said someone would get in touch. Not sure how much longer it will be.
At 8 weeks you should submit a CEDR claim for unfair treatment. It won't necessarly speed things up, but once you have got the CEDR clock running it may save time overall.
