If you want to stay in the city I‘d go with the PH. Better quality, rooms, service. Great GLOB treatment. Both are very conveniently located near the lake or the old town.
but agree, the HR is super convenient, too. Trains run around every 10 minutes to the main station. Max 10 minute ride. Good rates for Switzerland, super service, too.
