That is true, there are at least one beverage I've had on EK that I wouldn't ever buy: Hennessy Paradis.

On occasion though I've enjoyed some amazing wines onboard, but it tends to be the exception rather than the rule.

The most memorable favourites have been:

Y d'Yquem on EK F (Rare)
Ch d'Yquem on QR F (Rare)
LP Alexandra Rosé in LH F and QR J (has been on LH F and QR J very recently).
Krug NV in several F including QR F and SQ F and occasionally it makes an appearance in QR's Al Safwa lounge.

I'd never had the Alexandra Rosé before having it on LH, what a treat that was.

Regarding BA specifically, I reminisce of the days of Bolly Grande Année in BA F lounges: I still prefer it over LPGS, but then I do prefer the more masculine Champagnes.
