There are 3 of us travelling. I’m thinking that I purchase one Business seat and use the companion voucher for the second, then buy a Premium Economy seat and upgrade using the Barclaycard.

Is that permitted?
Thanks
If there are three CW award seats available on the flight I think that can work. You will end up with 2 separate bookings. You will also need to take one of the Companion Voucher seats yourself and will need to make the standalone Barclaycard voucher booking from your account but for this 3rd person (Barclaycard voucher t&c states that "The Member does not have to be the person to travel to use the Cabin Upgrade Voucher").
