I'm looking to downgrade my CSP to a freedom card and reapply to the CSR (or CSP if there is an elevated offer).
Here are my details:- Opened card in 7/17/2019. Received bonus at statement close 9/16/19.
- Annual fee will be hitting 8/16/23 and I'm under 5/24.
- I am leaving for a 2 week trip on 9/30 and would like the PP since I just closed my Amex Plat *tear*
Questions:- When should I downgrade the card? Because of my travel, would it be better to wait until after all my travel ends to downgrade the CSP?
- How long should I wait between downgrading the card to reapplying for the CSR (or CSP if offer is elevated)?
