JL tends to open premium-cabin award seats for partner redemption very close to departure date. There is such availability on many dates for the week starting tomorrow; but that's of little value if you're trying to plan a trip well in advance.
I used to be able to books from LAX almost any time in advance (up to calendar end) for 70k o/w in the past. Times have changed and not for the better. But we all know the programs never get better only worse over time.
