Sweet Potato Tikka Masala Entree
I liked this a lot. I would eat it by choice on the ground. Not gourmet Indian food, but tasty. A step up from some of the Trader Joe's frozen Indian options (which are pretty good). Worth noting that the single best thing I ate all flight was the tomatoes that came with the mozzarella. They were flavorful, sweet, and ripe. Quite a surprise.

Grilled Chicken Breast Entree
I did not have this, but my daughter-in-law loved it. She's early in pregnancy and frequently nauseous and this did not set her off. I expect it's a good option for those looking for something mild.

Sichuan Garlic Prawns Entree
Son and husband disagreed on this. Husband enjoyed it and remarked on the numbing quality expected from Sichuan peppercorns, but not from United catering. Son bit into a whole peppercorn, which he described as a rock. He liked the prawns but skipped the rest of the noodles for fear of additional landmines.

Sundae
Not pretty, a bit melty, but satisfying nonetheless.

Cheese Toastie and Potato Leek Soup
Surprisingly tasty.

Burger
Excellent bun, good flavor (pungent caramelized onions might startle some), but weird texture for the meat. Was surprised to be served this without choice, despite having ordered the vegetarian option for the main meal. Good thing I'm not vegetarian.
Portion sizes are still not quite up there, but these photos seem to suggest a step up in quality, preparation and presentation - things that should have been in place consistently for the last, say many years. I definitely would prefer the soup in a mug, that open bowl will just let the soup get cold quickly.
