Take the twin room but write in the notes that you have a preference for a King. You can also tell them at check-in. Should not be a problem to switch then.
Thanks. I'm a Explorist so I assume they'd have no issues switching me to a king room at check-in IF there's one available. My fear is that the hotel would get completely booked hence I wanted to try to get it confirmed prior to my arrival.
