I'm now unexpectedly on an AA domestic red-eye next month, SNA-CLT.
Economy meal is listed as 'Refreshment.'
What might this be, and, would it be offered after takeoff [likely] or in the morning before arrival?

I flew SNA-JFK more than once when it was a red-eye a few years ago, and AA offered wrapped sandwich baskets in Economy, but that was a premium transcontinental route on an A321B; SNA-CLT is non-premium, on an A321 NEO.
Not expecting the same this time...
