I wouldn't say "this is false" -- I would say in my recent experience the SkyClub has been opened all the way until closing time and both those experiences were within the last 2 weeks -- once at MSP and once at the new JFK SkyClub. YMMV as you can see in your experience but it's not a blanket "it closes when it gets dark outside" situation which is what I posted
