It's very popular amongst American tourists thanks to its Harry Potteresque red brick style. I find a lot of the rooms uncomfortable small, service poor, the mass tourism vibe ill to my taste. Breakfast is standard English public school style - adequate. For public transport however, the location is excellent. I often stay at the Great Northern Hotel next door which is very underrated.
