If someone no-shows, or cancels after PDM runs, the GA is going to look at the onload recommendation list and clear "#1", which is someone who should not be #1 in that case.
interesting yet confusing as heck for a paying customer. Ideally, for customer satisfaction, the FA should get the premium economy seat that becomes vacant when the revenue PAX is upgraded to business. But, of course, this would be expecting too much.
