lol, is someone at American reading this? After I just posted at 4:33 I went into my reservations at AA(dot)com and guess what? MCE had gone back down to the previous level and I snagged a pair quickly. Squeaky wheel? Fate? Whatever - done and I think worth the cost on the 10 hour flight.
