Please update on how you get on. I'm UK based and well versed using MCOL and the Scottish equivalent but no experience of Irish. As I use DUB fairly often for cheaper J fares would be very interested in hearing how it works and how you get on.
I’ve used UK MCOL again - hopefully it doesn’t come back to bite me, but i’m based in the UK and purchased my ticket in the UK and am also well used to using it.

I’ve also used the NI system as i’m based in Belfast, but don’t really see the benefit of using it as it’s a bit clunky. I’ve claimed against BA and KLM a few times successfully using MCOL. I had to raise another with BA today also so wanted to kill 2 birds with one stone.

Hopefully the claim alone is enough to make them cough up.

Just to add - There was a section on NI MCOL about cross border claims, so at that point I felt that i’d be covered, but claiming EU261 not UK261
