Just had a flight from the Phoenix high B gates and decided to try the Escape lounge. The last few times I've tried that Centurian or Escape lounges there was a wait. I had a guest and do not have the spend on the platinum card necessary for guest access so I tried the Escape lounge.

It was very not crowded at 9:00 a.m. I thought it was lovely. Small, but good food spread, nice staff, and decent seating options. Spent about 50 minutes or so and was happy. The line for the Centurion lounge was long when we left, even though the Escape lounge was only about 1/3 full. I would go back. Not sure I would make the trek from the A gates, but from low B I probably would try it again.
