My partner and I will be visiting Hong Kong during the 2005 Lunar New Year between Feb 7-13. We'd love to meet up with other travelers (or even locals!) to see HK, especially between Feb 9-10, when many of the local stores will close for the holidays. We are both in our mid 20s, Chinese-American, from California.

Also, would appreciate any suggestions on things to do during the Chinese New Year when many places are shut down (aside from seeing the parade and fireworks).
