I have experienced some business centers, where I was able to access the USB Port and could plug in my own USB cable to my laptop and use the printer as one directly connected to my Laptop. You are not always able to use the cable as sometimes you cannot de-connect it from the PC. So having you own usb printer cable is an advantage.

At one occasion I was able to request a printer to be brought into my room (for a fee) to be able to print documents prior to an meeting (I had brought my own paper). So yes, it is possible and it depends on the hotel.
