You're right. I've been focusing on making sure I have full coverage between Chase and the other insurance rather than who comes first. For future reference, why would I care who comes first?

Alas, I'm finding other insurers have much stricter cancelation triggers than Chase does regarding family members. Chase includes hospitalization of the family member, while others require being necessary for the care of the family member, which even insurance agents tell me has too much uncertainty for comfort.
