Same problem here, despite the availability on the website, can not book a ticket that includesEgypt Air segment. Spoke to 5 agents already 🫣 Was told, “it is some problem between United and Egypt air and they are not confirming the seats”. The agent was not able to create a booking (not confirm it, but just create). Any advices? Anyone was lucky?
The two systems do not talk to each other very often. I had the same problem in late May. 1K agent was unable to make a booking for a simple nonstop. I was trying to book a business seat for IAD-CAI.
Try a different *A partner airlines, perhaps. Good luck.
