Stayed here as a platinum recently. Booked the base room

Didn't realise elites don't get upgrades at Aloft (lol... clearly I don't stay in them often) but after asking nicely in the app before check in got an upgrade to a pool access room that I wanted (identical to above)

Decent full breakfast for platinums. It's no W but on the nicer side for the price point

Pool access room is nice, there's only about 6-7 in the whole property sharing the smaller side pool. Was also decently shaded during the day so you didn't have to worry about sunscreen etc. This is in addition to the rooftop pool

Location kinda odd but quick enough walk to the beach
