If an airline has multiple flights going out on the same route on the same day why not make 1 of them for the babies and one for adults only in peace. On wide-body international routes they could even have a sound proof baby cabin, more comfortable seatings for mothers and babies while the rest of the plane can’t hear any screaming. This would be a huge sell from all sides.
So here's the question... Why? I encounter more bad behaviour from adults than babies? When I fly. Babies usually cry if they're uncomfortable or distressed. If you can remedy that, babies will usually sleep the rest of the flight. On the other hand adults with poor impulse control... Drunks, pervs, drug users, don't like headphones, spreaders... Most who do not give two bits because you and others are inconvenienced. And they should know better.
