I agree that having another Hilton branded property will be nice, but I imagine they are addressing quite different markets (Hilton vs. HGI). The excellent news is the upcoming BTS/metro line. That will be a real game changer for those who enjoy staying by the river, but also like to make into the more central downtown area conveniently without having to take a water taxi to the get to the BTS.
