I am here to ask for some advice.
I flew with LOT from New Delhi in the beginning of December 2022. I fell ill at the airport, and the flight was overbook, the check-in lady kindly upgraded me to premium economy. 6 months later, my debit card was charged 340 euros twice, dated back to the day the flight took place. At first, I didn't know what was happening and took contact with the local police. Later it was seen that LOT took the money. There is no receipt or paper trail. I have sent numerous emails and phone calls to the customer service. Last update was that they agreed to returning the money, however the money came back. When asked where and when is the money coming back, LOT says that they are still investigating the case. I have never heard of such horrific customer service from an airline. I have contacted my bank and VISA, which both are still working the case for a refund.
Is there any tips or ideas people have to help speed up the process?
