l'll never understand why some airline employees are reluctant to rebook cabin to cabin. It's not like the money is coming out of their pockets.
Do the employee need to do something special in order to get this done? Supervisor should know and allow it
Might be one of those "employee is unfamiliar how to do this cross-airline booking" (UA should provide training or have superviser recognize quickly and help) or "employee needs to do some exception and afraid of getting into trouble for too many exceptions" (and I still blame UA for this
