Received: 1 King Premium Corner Midtown View in app, then upgraded to 1 King Premium Corner Skyline View at reception

How are the rooms?
Great view, clean room!

How is the exec. lounge?
Nonexistent

What was good and what was bad?
Good:
Upgraded to the highest regular room category below suite, with a great view.
Offered 4pm checkout without me having to ask and we definitely had use for it.

Neutral:
Was initially charged the amenity fee at checkout, but it was waived when I mentioned it shouldn't be on reward nights.
I don't quite understand why in Anglo-American hotel showers there's just one dial where low pressure=cold water and high pressure=warm water, where in the rest of the world you can set pressure and temperature independently?

Bad:
No complimentary mineral water, but maybe that's because I was upgraded at the reception, so I can live with that.

Value for $ or Priority Club Points? Would you return?
At 34k points it was very good value, maybe I was lucky with the timing of the booking, would definitely return at that rate.
