I'm assuming the OP means 5 weekly round trip tickets that do not overlap. I don't know if airlines keep a tab of people that buy a ticket, never fly and never request a refund. Presumably they wouldn't care. The airline keeps all the revenue and doesn't have to deliver the service and likely there's a butt ready and waiting to go in that unfilled seat.
