Recent AS Transcons

I had what I guess are my last A321 flights a couple of weeks ago: LAX-EWR-LAX.

Breakfast was the lemon pancakes previously posted. I enjoyed them but would have liked some butter. Enjoyed some sparkling wine as well.









Service was good but the snack basket never appeared. This was AS284 on July 18.

Menus were provided.


The return was AS287 (July 19). Things did not go as well as we took a delay for a broken oven. Dinner consisted of the salad, bread and S&S ice cream, plus a snack box. I chose tapas. Drinks were flowing so it was not a terrible flight. Pre-ordered fruit & cheese plates were served to those who had chosen that option.

Again, the snack basket never showed up. Maybe the crew was peckish after not getting their regular meals.

I posted this previously, but was far from the worst meal I have had on AS.
