This is really one for the AUP thread rather than POUG, since a ticket that complex won't trigger a POUG. But yes you are still OK for an AUP to WTP when in Q. I wouldn't use Avios since the charge values the Avios at nearly half their typical value, If you have zero other use for them then the cash AUP can be converted at that extortionate rate to an Avios upgrade at the airport. But it would have been far cheaper to go for an initial cash ticket in a booking class higher than Q, using Avios if necessary to save cash, and thus preserve your UuA options further down the track.
