I have observed the same for CMB but there it is still like yesterday: For months there were no P-Class (light) fares available at all, i.e. there was no fare ... seats have been available. Only classic-fares (R-Class). Now what QR has done is: They have increased R-fares even more to now approx € 3900 for a return and opened P-fares for around € 3600 (which was the cost of the Classic fare a few days ago). In summary: They have increased fares once again and opened light-fares for same rate as the classic-fare cost before, i.e cut benefits. I don't fly them anymore. Have booked a LH-UL connection for € 2300. I promise you - they will come down from their arrogance in a few months as I see AF, KL, LH competing heavily now.
