We're on a 10 hour flight from FRA to CLT later this fall and I was eyeing the MCE seats. We're booked with points in economy and it was roughly ~105-$150 to upgrade to MCE. I hadn't pulled the plug as almost every MCE seat was available and the flight was still several months off.

Today I was in my reservations and pulled up that flight and the MCE seats have spiked to anywhere from $153 to $228 for the flight. I was like, Whoa! Is this normal? I guess there isn't a chance in Hades of the cost going down.
