Universal City is like a tiny version of a retail & restaurant section in Vegas.
I looked up Bachannal and it seems to be $80 for supper. With the wealth of choices, it seems like a very fair price. A steak / seafood restaurant would cost more on an overall basis. My mother alas still feels it’s too expensive and I don’t travel with her.

I definitely lucked out on the table at David Copperfield and his magic was absolutely incredible! It is no wonder why he is an institution in Vegas!
Very cool I have heard good things about Morimoto's and one day, I may have to try it, even if it is not in Vegas, as by me, has a location in the fancy Boca Raton Hotel and a little further away, at the Disney Springs shopping and dining district at Walt Disney World. Awesome!
Although I haven't been there in a while, I like Bubba Gump's too, although I haven't been to those locations. What you found on Bacchanal sounds right it's about $80 for supper these days and given the wealth of choices and high quality, the price is more than fair, as a steak/seafood restaurant, like you said would definitely cost more on an overall basis. That's a shame your Mother still feels its too expensive, but I understand.
