Choice of chicken thigh, pasta or glass noodle with beef. Hadn’t had the chicken in a while so went with that. It was fine.

As the photo shows, it was a one-tray dump of everything ,including nuts and first beverage (I thought the current standard was nuts and beverage first but maybe it’s a time of day or aircraft distinction, or else just a hurry-up crew).

The last pic shows one potential peril of UA’s one-tray service: chocolate-coated dinner roll!
