Takanawa Gateway station is fairly new station opened in March 2020. Any posts for a hotel stay prior to March 2020 will say the closest station to the hotel is Shinagawa station.
I believe the hotel only opened in 2021 but that makes alot of sense why everything, even Google, keeps directing me to Shinagawa. Thanks! I kept thinking I must be missing something obvious.
